Japanese Wooden Keshobako Cosmetic/Vanity/Jewelry Box

This is a Japanese wooden cosmetic or vanity box, or Keshobako. It has a matte brown finish with a decorative floral rose design painted on the front side. Inside contains one drawer perfect for small items and jewelry, and a large open space for storing other larger items. A narrow side panel opens, making a small shelf. The mirror on the lid extends outward and rests in grooves at the box's opening to create the perfect angle for use.
