This is a Japanese vintage porcelain sweet or snack bowl Kashiki, Kashi-Hachi. Kashiki is a container for serving Japanese sweets at the tea ceremony. There are four main Kashiki containers: Kashi-Wan (lacquered bowl), Kashi-Hachi (pottery bowl), En-Ko container (Jubako), and Jikiro (bowl with lid).
