Antique Japanese Lacquered Lidded Bowl
A deep crimson red lacquer with a black interior, this large decorative antique Japanese lidded serving bowl is hand-crafted from wood. It features a gorgeous hand-painted gold makie design of a crane in flight with a plum blossom tree. This piece also may have been used as a kashibachi, or snack bowl, commonly found in tea ceremony.
