Vtg Japanese Hina Doll Accessory

This is a vintage Japanese resin lacquer replica photo stand with a music box.  It is made of resin plastic to mimic the look of red lacquered wood. It is used during Hina Matsuri (Girl's Day) in the gorgeous doll display. It is a glossy red with a printed design of cherry blossoms and ribbon. This stand can be placed vertically and horizontally. The matching photo size is 117 x 81mm. The small window is for showing the birthday of a girl. The song title of the music box is ureshii hinamatsuri, which is very popular as a Hinamatsuri song in Japan. It comes with the original box.

The Hinamatsuri (Doll's Festival) in Japan is a traditional event celebrated on March 3rd every year, primarily to wish for the healthy growth and happiness of girls. Hina dolls are an essential part of Hinamatsuri and are prominently displayed in homes during the festival.
