Japanese Bamboo Chasen Whisk for Tea Ceremony
This is a vintage Japanese matcha tea whisk called chasen, which is crafted by hand from a single piece of bamboo and is a crucial utensil used in traditional Japanese tea ceremony (sado). It is a natural dried bamboo brown color and the outer band of the whisk is secured in place by black thread. It comes with the original paper box.
