Vtg Japanese Ceramic Zodiac Sheep Figurines
This is a vintage ceramic Japanese set of zodiac figurines, often set out before and after the New Year or as a token of a person's birth year and assigned zodiac animal. Zodiac figurines are a lucky charm that protects the family throughout the year. These two sheep, or hitsuji, figurines have a curvy and cute look. There is a small orange sheep figurine and a big white one; they both have gold details. They come with a black stand, a small wood panel, and a paper folding screen. The set comes in a box.
