This is a vintage Japanese wooden hand clapper, also known as naruko. It is a rhythm percussion musical instrument made for use during Yosakoi festivals during dance performances. It is also a traditional toy for children. It is painted a bright orange with a black edge and yellow and black movable sticks. The original box is included.
