Vintage Japanese Folding Fan Case
This is a vintage Japanese folding fan case/carrying sleeve, or sensubukuro. This case is made specifically for a maisen, or performing fan and has a long tapered shape. It is made from vibrant chartreuse green silk fabric with a subtle crane (tsuru) design. Inside is a beige-colored silk lining. The top folds over and keeps closed with a silk purple tie and plastic toggle.

- Good condition considering age. Staining on bottom and near folding point at top Fading on purple tie cord. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
