Vintage Japanese Lacquer Bamboo Serving Tray

This is a Japanese vintage lacquer serving tray, or Obon. This brown and black serving tray is made of woven bamboo using the traditional Japanese technique of bamboo weaving. This lightweight bamboo lacquer serving tray comes in its paper box.

Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
