Antique Japanese Buddhist Lacquered Wood Drawers
This is an antique Japanese lacquered wooden Buddhist drawer unit. It is coated in classic black lacquer with gold makie floral designs on each side. This unit has seven drawers. Each drawer is black with metal embellishments on the front, gold makie peony floral designs on the side, and gold on the inside of the drawer. They feature a cut-out on the right to help grab stored documents. This gorgeous box is the perfect size to store Buddhist sutra books and other goods.
