This set of two lacquered wooden takatsuki, or tall stands for mochi rice cakes, embellished with a gorgeous gold makie floral and vine design, is the perfect addition to any existing hina set. The set comes with the original wooden box.

The Hinamatsuri (Doll's Festival) in Japan is a traditional event celebrated on March 3rd every year, primarily to wish for the healthy growth and happiness of girls. Hina dolls are an essential part of Hinamatsuri and are prominently displayed in homes during the festival.

• Good condition considering age. Some minor lacquer chips along edges. One stand has been repaired and has chipped wood on the inner base. Wood box lid is loose because sliding bracket is broken. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
