Vtg Japanese Inkstone Suzuri Sumi Grinding for Calligraphy Shodo Shuji
This is a vintage Japanese inkstone, suzuri, used for grinding sumi and holding ink. It is a necessary tool in calligraphy (shodo) and traditional penmanship (shuji). It is made of a black stone.

- Good condition considering its age. Used. A lot of black ink on the pad. Chip on the bottom right corner. Stone is broken and missing (bottom right side). Marks on the back. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
