Japanese Wooden Hina Dolls Storage Box Vtg Inside 30.3x36.2x13.5cm Brown X240
Vintage Japanese Wooden Storage Box
This vintage Japanese wooden box is simple yet sturdy, and crafted to store a set of different trays used as accessories for Hina doll sets. A divider in between creates two individual compartments. The lid sits flush on top and features labels and a red seal. It is perfect for storing general pottery pieces (vases, bowls, etc), dolls, and trinkets, and can also be used for DIY decoration.
Wooden boxes are a common way to safely store delicate pottery, vases, and other ceramic, clay, and glass items in Japan. In addition to pottery, they are also widely used for a wide range of other traditional Japanese crafts, including kimono accessories, wrapping cloths, chopsticks, commemorative gifts, and even food.
