Vintage Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Shokudai Candle Stand
This is a pair of Japanese vintage Buddhist altar candle holder stands. Made of metal and painted a brilliant gold color, these stands have a wide base meant to hold pillar-type candles.
Candlestands or candlesticks are basic Buddhist tools used in most sects and are an essential item for Buddhist altars (Butsudan).
