Vintage Japanese Wooden Storage Box

Wooden boxes are a standard method of safely keeping and storing delicate pottery, vases, and other ceramic, clay, and glass items in Japan. In addition to pottery, they are widely used for many traditional Japanese crafts, including kimono accessories, wrapping cloths, chopsticks, commemorative gifts, etc, and even food.

This light brown, sturdy wood box has the scent of incense. The lid has inscriptions, and the sticker on the side says the product name. It is excellent for general storage, DIY, or decoration.
