Japanese Lidded Tea Ceremony Storage Box
This is a large vintage lidded wooden storage box for Japanese tea ceremony items. It has two removable shelves. The lid sits nicely inside, and this chabako has a little metal locking key/bracket that holds the lid shut. It has two wooden brackets on either side to use for transport. It can fit a complete set of tea ceremony items (two/three tea bowls, water container, whisk, ladle, matcha container, matcha scoop, cloths, etc).
