Vintage Japanese Wooden Storage Box
Wooden boxes are a common method of safely keeping and storing delicate pottery, vases, and other ceramic, clay, and glass items in Japan. In addition to pottery, they are also widely used for a plethora of other traditional Japanese crafts, including kimono accessories, wrapping cloths, chopsticks, commemorative gifts, etc, and even food.
This lidded box is made of wood and has a natural brown color. It has 5 compartments used to store small bowls. There are inscriptions on the lid and on one side of the box. There is a label pasted on one side. It is excellent for general storage, DIY, or decoration.

- Good condition considering age. Lid is slightly warped. Some of the wood on the lid is peeling. Stains and scratches. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
