Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Doll
This vintage Japanese wooden doll has a simple, classic design. The body is curved with various carvings. It features the shochikubai pattern (pink plum blossoms, pine, bamboo). The face style is young with a friendly expression and the hair is styled into a bow-bun with a gold cord tied at the center. It is stained a medium brown and brushed with a clear lacquer coat.
