Vtg Japanese Wooden Statue Hotei
This is a large vintage Japanese carved wooden statue that depicts one of the Seven Lucky Gods, Hotei. Hotei is often associates with good fortune, popularity, and considered a guardian of children. His prominent features include a bald head and round, often exposed, belly. He carries a large branch with a sack tied to it and a hyotan gourd bottle in one hand.
