Vtg Japanese Wooden Daikokuten Statue
This is a vintage Japanese statue of Daikokuten, one of the Seven Lucky Gods (shichifukujin). This statue is intricately carved from wood and brushed with a clear lacquer finish. Daikokuten is the deity that symbolizes wealth and commerce and is often depicted holding a mallet, a sack, and standing on bales of rice.
