Vtg Japanese Fisherwoman Figurine
This is a vintage Japanese figurine of a fisherwoman. She is sitting on a large seashell holding a fishing rod, bucket, and fish. The main body is mostly made of plastic resin, fabrics, and natural materials. The bucket says "Tsuruga" which is a city in Fukui Prefecture that hugs a large bay on the Sea of Japan. The region is most famous for madai (red sea bream). This cute little souvenir figurine is an excellent addition to any nautical or ocean-themed decor.
