Vintage Japanese Folding Fan Case
This is a vintage Japanese folding fan case/carrying sleeve, or sensubukuro. This case is made specifically for a maisen, or performing fan and has a long tapered shape. It is made from gold and red silk fabric with traditional floral and bird designs. Inside is a light gold-colored lining. The top folds over and keeps closed with a matching tie.

- Good condition considering age. Some small tears on folded edge corners. Light staining on lining. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
