Vtg Japanese Pottery Tea Bowl W/ Wooden Box
This is a Japanese vintage pottery tea bowl or chawan in the Tobe ware style. It has an orange-pink and gray glaze on it. The foot part has a rough texture without glaze. Inside the bowl is a stylish design that looks like a lion's face. Some Kanji are painted on the outside. It is sold in a wooden box, perfect for storage when not in use. This bowl can be used for tea ceremonies as well as for daily use. It is an elegant piece, suitable for any season.
