Vintage Japanese Chochin Lantern w/ Box
This is a vintage Japanese paper lantern called chochin. It is made with thin washi paper with a thin bamboo frame. It compresses flat for storage. It is in the unique shape of a multi-tiered temple in blue and green with long tassels, painted windows and features, and pink flowers. It has two larger tassels on the bottom and inside, a metal spike to place a candle. Original box is included.
