Vintage Japanese Lacquer Wooden Serving Tray
This is a Japanese vintage lacquer serving tray, or Obon. This lightweight round lacquer obon is an elegant, glossy brown color lacquered in the Hida Shunkei style of lacquerware. It has a very simple shape and design. Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
