Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It has a light color base with an illustration and some text on top. The illustration represents a man and a woman wearing kimonos. The text is black and is long enough to cover one side of the bowl. This bowl is signed on the bottom. It is sturdy and easy to handle. Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
