Vintage Japanese Folding Fan Sensu Shimaisen
This is a traditional Japanese fan called Sensu. You can use this when it's hot or as decoration. It is sometimes used in traditional Japanese dance. It's decorated with a gold and yellow landscape as seen on some folding screen backgrounds. The design is the same on both sides. This type of fan is called Shimaisen and is traditionally used during Noh theater performances. The paper is secured onto the dark red bamboo frame with a white string. This folding fan comes with a paper box.
