Vtg Japanese Clay Zodiac Decoration

This is a vintage Japanese clay figurine representing a green dragon with a red and white string in its mouse. This figurine has a sticker "Better Fortune" on the front, felt pads on the bottom and a sticker on the back with the name of the kiln.
Dragon, or tatsu, is one of the twelve signs of Japanese Zodiac (Junishi). There is a sign for each year and a full cycle is repeated after 12 years. It is common to display the year's sign in the entrance or in the living room in Japan.
