Vintage Chifu Colony School Photograph
This is a vintage sepia-tone photograph of a man standing in front of a newly built Chifu Elementary School in China during the Manchurian occupation. During the 1930s, Japan urged citizens to migrate to and revitalize rural areas of occupied Manchuria. This of course dissolved after the end of WWII.
