Japanese Ceramic Yunomi Teacup

This vintage Japanese teacup has a crackled light green glaze with spots of brown and cream underlayer. It is tall and has some weight to it, so it rests nicely on one's hands.
This cup is called yunomi or a smaller, sometimes more cylindrical cup made for serving and drinking sencha (standard looseleaf tea). These cups are typically brought to guest in one's home, a business, or a restaurant on a lacquered obon tray.
