Vintage Japanese Ceramic Small Bowl
This vintage Japanese ceramic small bowl, or kobachi, is beige and brown with some white accents on the rim and upper inside edge. It is slightly pear-shaped and has an opening on one end with a small spout. This style of dish is called katakuchi and while this shape was originally used for draining water or liquid from steamed dishes or vegetables, it is often a decorative choice.
