Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic Shino ware green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It is a gray crackle glaze with a design of a forest painted in darker gray on the front. It is signed on the bottom. This bowl comes in a wooden box with inscriptions about the kiln and the artist. The box has a string attached to secure the lid. This piece is not only used as a matcha bowl but it can also be enjoyed for ornamental purposes. The design is classic and timeless, making it an ideal addition to any home.
