Japanese Calligraphy Brush
This is a vintage Japanese calligraphy brush, or fude in Japanese. There are some inscriptions on the handle.
Brushes are traditionally used for Japanese calligraphy (Shodo) and for practicing Japanese character handwriting (Shuji). They can also be used for traditional Nihonga paintings.

- Good condition considering its age. Used item. Ink stains on hair. The bristles are hard/crispy and need cleaning. Bristles on one side are broken in half. The string at the top is broken and missing. Ink stains. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
