Vintage Japanese Mortuary Tablet Ihai
This is a vintage Japanese mortuary tablet Ihai. A mortuary tablet is a place the spirit is enshrined. This type of Ihai (with a double door) is called Miyabi. It is black with gold paint and gold color metal embellishments. This mortuary tablet (Kai de Ihai) can hold several deceased people in one place. It contains 1 black wood plate and 8 white wood plates. All the plates are unused, without inscriptions. This mortuary tablet comes in a cardboard box.
