Vtg Japanese Buddhist Senko Incense 

These are vintage Japanese Buddhist o-senko, incense sticks. There are 7 incense sticks wrapped in green paper with Japanese inscriptions. A message will appear once the incense is burnt. The scent of incense sticks is said to feed and purify the deceased, and the smoke delivers prayers and thoughts to the ancestors and the dead. Incense is also used to purify a space or to change one's state of mind.
