This is a vintage Japanese Buddhist brass incess burner (koro) made as a fitting for a Buddhist altar. The design at the front features a lotus flower in gold. It is used for burning incense powder or sticks. The incense burner has the meaning of purifying the body of the worshiper. It's decorated with flowers.
