Japanese Rice Offering Cup Buddhist Altar Fitting Butsugu

This is a Japanese rice offering cup, Buppanki, made for use in a Buddhist altar. This cup is small and made of brass metal with a black plastic base that protects surfaces from scratching. The rice offered to Buddhist altars is called “Buppan”. Other things such as sake, mochi, etc are also offered at home and temple altars.
