Vintage Japanese Lucky Hammer 

This is a vintage Japanese lucky hammer, or Uchide no kozuchi. This lucky mallet is filled with rice, producing a rattling sound. It is made of golden resin, has a red tassel, and two functional bells attached by a red ribbon. The front features decorations, including flowers and the Japanese character for longevity. This item comes in a fabric storage bag.

  • Good condition considering age. Scratches and marks. It seems the front panel has been opened to insert rice, and fixed after: gold paint marks all around the front part. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
