Vintage Japanese Ceramic Kama Pot With Lid
This vintage Japanese ceramic pot with a lid is a small-scale replica of a kama, a traditional pot. It is used to served kamameshi, rice cooked in a kame, or takikomi gohan, mixed rice dish. This container is beige with a glossy brown glaze on the top half. It has a matching lid. There are inscriptions on both the pot and the lid.
We got this item at an antique auction in Tajimi in Gifu, Japan.
