Vintage Japanese Drawstring Bag Made With Kimono Cloth
This is a Japanese drawstring bag, kinchaku-bukuro, made of soft silk kimono cloth in a muted blue, green, and beige. The pattern features a combination of geometric and floral motifs. The lining is a bright blue with a subtle mountain village design. The cord is braided red cotton. It has a small gusset, but not solid bottom piece for shape.
While wearing kimono or yukata (summer kimono), this bag gives the overall look its finishing touch. It is also good for everyday use, for makeup, or for storing small items.
