Vintage Japanese Paper Uchiwa Fan w/Box

This is a Japanese vintage paper fan or UchiwaUchiwa is a traditional fan tool typically made of wood or bamboo and paper in a flat paddle-like shape. This particular fan is by the artist Issei Yamauchi and features a bunch of blue nemophila (Baby Blue Eyes) flowers and leaves made from layers of washi paper. It has a splash of gold paint on the back side. It has a carved wooden handle and includes the original box and pamphlet (some English language).
