Japanese Wooden Bucket Sushioke, Hangiri, Handai
This is a Japanese vintage wooden sushi bucket. It is called Sushioke, Hangiri, or Handai. Sushioke is a bucket used to serve sushi. This is usually made of wood and is firmly held together by two thin metal plates or wires called Taga. This particular sushi bucket has a lid.
