Vtg Japanese Ceramic Flower Vase With Wooden Box

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic flower vase, also called kabin or hanaire in Japanese. This vase is in the Nezumi Shino ware style, a type of Mino ware. It has a gray textured glaze with black lined details. It is sturdy and easy to handle thanks to its design: a cylinder with deep and large carvings. This vase has an inscription on the bottom. It is wrapped and cased in a wooden box. This vase can be used for Ikebana or other floral arrangements. It is a beautiful item that can be displayed as decor.
