Vintage Japanese Ceramic Suiban for Ikebana Flower Arrangement

This is a vintage ceramic Japanese flower vase, or suiban. This piece is a unique rounded triangular shape. It is brown with a heavily textured outside. It sits on three small legs, but can also be positioned on its side for smaller arrangements.
Suiban means "water tray" and typically houses the spiked weight (kenzan) that hold ikebana flower stems in place, but can also be used as a base for a flower pot, or even a potted bonsai.
