Vintage Japanese Porcelain Teacup and Saucer

This is a Japanese porcelain teacup with matching saucer/small plate. It is manufactured by large porcelain china company Koransha (香蘭社) noted by the maker's mark on the bottom side. This cup and saucer have a rich lapis lazuli blue color with gold accents around the rim and along the handle. They also feature the insignia of Rotary International and was likely a novelty gift. This set is also called "morning cup" as it is the perfect size for both coffee and tea to be served around breakfast time.
