Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Serving Tray, Obon

A dark brown brushed with a clear lacquer, this small vintage Japanese wooden serving tray has a makie gold and red design of campanula flowers at the very center. It also has a red top rim. It is a round tray with taller sides so drinks cannot easily slide off. 
Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
