Antique Japanese Pottery Sake Bottle Kayoi-Tokkuri
This is an antique Japanese ceramic sake bottle. It is called a Kayoi-Tokkuri and is used to pour sake. The commuting sake bottle became popular as a rental container for liquor stores in the Edo period when sake began to be consumed daily. This gray bottle has black and brown characters.

- Good condition considering age. Glaze imperfections from production. Small ceramic piece is attached around the bottom, which is from production. Slightly wobbly. Chips around the bottom. Crack. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
