Vintage Japanese Porcelain Teacup Saucer

This is a vintage Japanese porcelain teacup saucer (chataku). It can also be used as a small plate (meimeizara). This round plate is mostly white with pink roses and buds and green leaves.  The rim is red. The top surface has an indentation for a cup to fit neatly on it. Though it mainly functions as a saucer, I can also be used as a small plate perfect for putting small food or sweets such as cakes.

• Good condition considering age. Chip on bottom base. Small chip on rim. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
