Vtg Japanese Ceramic Side Dish Plate
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic side dish plate or bowl. This white plate has an elegant octagonal shape. There are blue round symbols on the outside of the plate and blue resinous tree leaves on the inside. This small-sized plate is perfect for putting on small food, sweets, or even ice cream.
Traditionally Japanese meals consist of a bowl of rice accompanied with several side dishes. The side dishes are served in dedicated small plates and small bowls.
