Vintage Japanese Tansu Chest Metal Backplate Hardware Set
This is a set of five vintage metal backplates for tansu chest drawers and cabinet knobs (sentoku). It has a prominent chrysanthemum motif with twisting vines. There is a hole at the center to fit a knob bolt through, as well as a small hole on either side for small nails to keep the plate secured.
